During this time of lock down many of you will be just standing somewhere, inside a box of four walls enclosing you,for your safety. But this state has created deep effects in all our minds. The inability to go out, feel the breeze and air, interact with your friends at schools, all these things may have definitely created an affect in your mental stability. The most heard thing nowadays is the depression and anxiety, that occur due to the sudden changes in vicious behavior cycle of an individual.

Me being a 20 year old also have to face such mood swings especially during this lock down time. But my family, music.day to day works , submissions, and blogging have helped me a lot to keep myself engaged (life of an architecture student) and cope up with my extreme mood swings. But still I get an essence of bleakness and disappointments. The primary factor that helped me to reduce this, is my convention of opening up my inner thoughts to my family.I tell them everything happening in my life and this had and is still helping me a lot in controlling my jitters and uneasiness.

Depression is a state of mind where you don't feel any ardor, vehemence or any emotions. You don't like being happy in any situations ,you wont feel any hunger or may feel too much hunger. And an other symptom is crying for all silly small things. So there are a few tips that I would  recommend to relax your mind and alleviate yourself.

1)Get engaged and busy.Never give yourself a chance to sit idle.Do your works or do anything that you like and can make you happy.Never put exertion to your notions or conceptions.

2)Don't lose hope.Always believe in yourself and be self-confident.Trust in your capabilities.

3)Always talk to someone.Share your things with someone you like.In my case as I mentioned I talk to my mom dad and brother. They are like my best fiends who knows everything happening with me and my life.

4)Try to write down your daily things. This can create a memory within your mind and hence help reduce sadness. And this can create a mindset where you feel like finishing your day to day goals.

5)Music-I always recommend everyone to hark music if you feel down.Music is my solace as I have already mentioned about it in my other blogs.Let it be any type or genre, but try to get involved in it.I have to just say how BTS has helped me throughout this quarantine period.

6)Have an organized routine-Fix your timings for daily activities.Try to schedule your deeds.

7)Sleep well-Never adjourn your sleeping cycle. It is very important to have a sound sleep of 8 hrs at-least.Have a prompt sleep cycle.

8)It is very difficult to undergo or live through this situation, and it is strenuous to restrict these thoughts. So the only one thing that can be done is to let the thought reiterate .Don't let your thoughts restrict itself or don't just suppress them.Suppressing your thoughts can only lead to a push into your next thought ...So let it be.

9)Face all the fret-Learn to cope up through all your mood swings.Whatever it is accept it and don't deny it.Denial can worsen your condition as you will not be able to accept yourself or love yourself. This can also interfere your self confidence.

10)Try to find your source of happiness-Whatever that helps you forget your negative thoughts are the provenance of your joy.

So try to incorporate these 10 points in your lifestyle to reduce tensity.

Turn your trepidation into equanimity, traction into controlled emotion, and forlorn into peace.

With the spreading pandemic it is very important for each one of us to stay inside our house. So take the required steps to balance your mental health along with your physical wellness.

Swetha one thing to be appreciated much is that it is your own creation means you have not copied it from anywhere. Best. Appreciate it. But one thing to be remembered that all these thoughts might be there in your subconscious mind which entered there might be through some of your elders advises ( like father, mother etc..) or through some books or Magazines etc all of which were processed in your thoughts and became a blog like this. True? Thanks πŸ™
